MY PHILOSOPHY

Hi all! My name is Angeliki Lekka. I live on the beautiful island of Corfu,( Kassiopi Village) and I am a professional massage therapist, Reiki practitioner and a massage instructor.

Soul Touch, was the feeling that nestled into my heart, from the first minute that I started giving massages and drove me to one of the best experience of my life. I discovered through this, the healing power of "touch" and how much love you gain, by putting your soul into your work. Having over 10000 hours of practice by working with people from all over the world and combining different techniques from a wide range of different types of massage, from Eastern and Western philosophies, I manage to turn each session, into a unique ritual, that I do with passion and respect, for each clients' specific needs. After my clients request, I have been offering my services for several years in London, every winter season, working with Celebrities, Models, VIP's, Royalty, Sports stars, and private residences. I am also now working as an International Massage Therapist, accepting bookings from clients overseas.

  • BRAZILIAN LYMPHATIC MASSAGE
    The Brazilian Lymphatic Massage, is primarily designed for cosmetic purposes, it blends traditional lymphatic drainage massage techniques with sculpting/contouring techniques and myofascial release to instantly target bloating, puffiness, water retention, helps reduce the appearance of cellulite and assists pre and post surgery. This technique uses more vigorous and deeper techniques.
  • SHIATSU
    Shiatsu is a therapeutic form ofmuscle meridian stretching and corrective exercises derived from Japan. Shiatsu involves applying pressure to the body using a practitioner’s thumbs, palms, elbows, knees and feet. It is founded on the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine theory that energy moves through channels within the body, known as meridians. Shiatsu practitioners aim to restore the balance of energy through meridians in order to promote health and strengthen the body’s healing abilities.
  • ANTI-AGING FACIAL MASSAGE
    The anti-aging facial massage pampers and rejuvenates your facial skin thanks to its different handling techniques. The combination of vigorous applications and lymphatic drainage helps tighten the skin and prevent the formation of the first or new wrinkles. By applying pressure and gently touching the skin, the anti-aging face massage stimulates the lymph flow and the blood circulation of the facial muscles and tissues, so the massage speeds up the metabolic processes. The result will be visible immediately after the treatment.
  • ANCIENT GREEK MASSAGE
    Ancient Greek Massage is a healing method,that was taking place in Ancient Greece, inspired by Hippocrates, the father of medicine. Its techniques,were applied, to patients in places such as Asclepeia (healing centres), in gymnasiums by pedotribes (coaches in ancient greek palestras) and wrestling schools. An Ancient Greek Massage session,starts with pressures and strokes on a dry body. The therapeutic properties of the ancient greek music fills the room. Then, by the use of powder and a special brush we enhance blood circulation at the back. What follows is intensive kneading with virgin olive oil mixed with essential oils, combined with the usage of special suction cups. We end the session at the back body,with the usage of a special tool, called "stleggida", which was a tool like a scraper,that the athlets were using in order to remove the oil and dust from their bodies and also stimulates new oxygenated blood flow. The treatment is completed with the “sadness rubbing” which is virtually a head massage during which the release of “serotonin” is increased and the “cortisol” is decreased thus releasing the body from sadness. It is a healing that releases stress, offering a deep sense of relaxation and wellness and at the same time brings us close to the ancient greek thought.
  • THAI YOGA MASSAGE SESSION
    Traditional Thai Massage, or Nuad Thai, or Thai Yoga Massage, is an ancient energy-based healing system, that combines acupressure, reflexology and assisted yoga postures and stretches. This process, opens joints, stretches muscles and tendons, tones internal organs and balances body energy. In a session of Thai Yoga Massage,the client is dressed in light and stretchy clothes and lies down comfortably on a mat on the floor. A session usually lasts between 1,5 and 2 hours and the therapist uses his palms, fingers, elbows, knees and feet, using his body weight, applying pressure along the meridians (SEN) of the body.
  • SWEDISH MASSAGE
    Swedish massage is the most popular type of massage. It involves the use of hands, forearms or elbows to manipulate the superficial layers of the muscles to improve mental and physical health. Active or passive movement of the joints may also be part of the massage. The benefits of Swedish massage include increased blood circulation, mental and physical relaxation, decreased stress and muscle tension, and improved range of motion.
  • THAI OIL MASSAGE
    Thai Oil Massage is a variant of Traditional Thai massage, uses firm pressure and deep rhythmic movements along meridian/energy lines of the body. This treatment aims to unblock, balance and restore the body’s natural flow of energy and so maintain equilibrium in all organs and systems within the body thus preventing poor health and disease, enabling the body to heal itself and work efficiently.
  • SPORTS MASSAGE
    Is a specific and more focused form of massage, that is typically used, before, during and after athletic events. The purpose of the massage is to prepare the athlete for peak performance, to drain away fatigue, to relieve swelling, to reduce muscle tension, to promote flexibility and to prevent injuries. The main purpose of sports massage, is to help alleviate the stress and tension which builds up in the body's soft tissues during physical activity. PRE-EVENT: This is a specific treatment before an event. The goal of treatment is to increase circulation, flexibility and mental clarity of the client. POST-EVENT: A massage after a major event, geared to aid the athlete to recover from the activity. This is achieved by reducing post-exercise soreness, re-establishing full range of motion and enhancing blood flow to tight muscles.
  • LOMI LOMI (HAWAIIAN) MASSAGE
    Lomi Lomi massage,is an ancient Hawaiian restorative healing system,which is beneficial for many ailments and to increase spiritual energy and personal power.Working with a lot of oil,the strokes are done with the hands,palms,thumbs,elbows,fingers and forearms and are often long and sweeping,much like long,rolling waves travelling along the body.They are very relaxing but also beneficial in all levels,including deep tissue techniques.
  • CUPPING MASSAGE
    Cupping Massage is an ancient form of alternative treatment, in which the therapist, creates suction to the skin with a special glass, plastic or silicone cup to stimulate the blood circulation and energy flow. This practice helps with the sore muscles, excess fluids, and pulls toxins from surface tissues.Cupping can provide relief to those with lung congestion due to allergies and asthma. Also after suffering an injuring to an area (such as a bump on the leg), sometimes there can be fluids, stagnant blood which remain and cause blockages and pain. Cupping can be used to provide relief for such injuries. The massage can also help to stimulate the lymphatic system and to detox or clean it out.     Hot stone massage melts away tension, eases muscle stiffness and increases circulation and metabolism. Each hot stone massage session promotes deeper muscle relaxation through the placement of smooth, water-heated stones at key points on the body. The premise behind hot stone massage is that the direct heat of the stones relaxes muscles, allowing the therapist access to their deeper muscle layers. Combining hot stone protocols with a full body massage provides a very healing and effective experience. The hot stones also expand blood vessels, which encourages blood flow throughout the body. The hot stones have a sedative effect that can relieve chronic pain, reduce stress and promote deep relaxation. Alternating hot and cold stones on a facial massage, it works as a natural face lifting.   • MANUAL LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE
    Lymphatic Drainage is a light massage to the lymph nodes that helps to pump the lymph fluid through your Lymphatic system. Sometimes the lymph nodes get clogged and with light strokes your therapist will unclog them.The excess Lymphatic fluids in your body creates inflammation, hardening, lumps and pain. Lymphatic Drainage Massage will boost your Lymphatic system to expel the excess liquid through urine while detoxifying and reenergizing your body. It is also the ideal massage for those who want a very light massage.
  • FACIAL LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE
    Ιn the facial lymphatic drainage, small pressures are directed towards the lymph to remove toxins by natural means.The lymphatic drainage massage in general is very good for health and in particular, improves the facial skin condition. It is an amazing rejuvenating and slimming face,also because it eliminates excess fluids and toxins that accumulate in the tissues.If you feel tired, or you’re not getting enough sleep, lymphatic drainage is an excellent idea. The anti-cellulite massage technique is firmer and more fast paced than the typical Swedish massage or a relaxing massage. Also the areas with cellulite build up can be sore and sensitive. Due to this you might experience some discomfort when the areas with the cellulite are getting worked. The professional anti cellulite massage can also be combined with cupping suction cup treatments and body wrap.Lymphatic Anti cellulite massage, will assist in the cellulite reduction if done in combination with proper diet, exercise etc.
  • DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE
    Deep-tissue massage utilizes slow strokes, direct pressure or friction applied across the grain of the muscles with the fingers, thumbs or elbows. Deep-tissue massage works deeply into the muscles and connective tissue to release chronic aches and pains; its purpose is to reach the fascia beneath the surface muscles.
  • THAI REFLEXOLOGY (THAI FOOT AND HAND MASSAGE)
    Thai hand and foot massage originated in Thailand and it is believed that is has been practised for around 2500 years. This is a very firm, refreshing, revitalising and detoxing massage that provides many health benefits and is the Thai version of Reflexology. The massage involves using a variety of massage pressures with the fingers and the whole hand, and a special thai massage stick to stimulate certain areas of the feet, releasing blocked energy within the body's many Sens lines (Thai based meridians). Although the techniques involved in Thai hand and foot massage involve direct manipulation of only the lower limbs, hands and feet the potential benefits are widespread. This treatment can restore joint movement and mobility; relieve tension and fibrous adhesions in the lowers limbs, hands and feet. The massage techniques can also substantially reduce pain and restriction in these areas. This treatment is deeply relaxing although very vigorous and can relieve stress and tension, improve circulation, enhance concentration and clear thinking and create a feeling of mental calmness and physical well being which can last several days following treatment Please note that due to some of the techniques used it is advisable to wear loose trousers or shorts. The treatment should not proceed in case of early pregnancy, recent stroke, heart conditions, varicose veins, or recent injuries.
  • THAI HERBAL BALL MASSAGE (LUK PRA KOB)
    The herbal ball (herbal compress ball) is a treatment that uses a round herbal ball of special herbs. One of the best types of treatments for muscle and soft tissue pain is used in the form of a herbal compress. It is commonly compliments traditional massage. The herbal ball is used to alleviate pain or inflammation by opening the pores and bringing a medicinal heat to muscles to induce relaxation. The blend of herbs helps to relieve muscle and joint pain, increases blood circulation, and nourishes and revitalizes the skin. It induces deep relaxation, relieves stress and fatigue, boosts both emotional and physical well-being, assists alignment and postural integrity of the body.
  • ON SITE CHAIR MASSAGE
    The massage is performed with the client fully dressed and sitting in a lightweight chair. Treatment can be from just a few minutes to an hour, depending on the situation and the client. By using a combination of different types of massage technigues, this massage treats the most common areas of tension and stress. It is also the ideal massage for companies, events, conferences, concerts and gatherings as no oils are used and you don't have to remove your clothes.   • AROMATHERAPY
    Aromatherapy massage uses essential oils derived from plants to provide the mind and body with numerous health benefits. In aromatherapy massage, essential oils are usually mixed with a carrier oil like sweet almond, apricot kernel, or grapeseed oil. A relaxing aromatherapy massage, for instance, might have lavender or bergamot, while a massage for sore muscles might include peppermint and eucalyptus.
  • TRIGGER POINT MASSAGE
    Trigger points are often the primary cause of up to 95% of all muscle pain,and are areas of soft tissue in the body characterized by local pain, tightness, and tenderness. Trigger-point massage seeks first to identify trigger points, then apply steady, appropriate pressure to the point to "release" it. This is usually followed by massage to the surrounding area to help treat the cause of the trigger point.
  • MYOFASCIAL RELEASE MASSAGE
    Myofascial release is a type of hands-on technique often used to treat myofascial pain syndrome. Myofascial pain syndrome is a chronic pain disorder caused by sensitivity and tightness in your myofascial tissues. These tissues surround and support the muscles throughout your body. Myofascial release is often used over a broad area of muscle and tissue rather than at single points.
  • PREGNANCY MASSAGE
    Pregnancy massage is specialy made for woman who are pregnant.The woman receives the session in side lying,(or seated on the chair in some cases)and face up position,with pillows to support the body. Massage during pregnancy,increases blood and lympth circulation and therefore relieves swelling in legs and hands.It alleviates strain on weight -bearing joints and the myofascial structures,to provide relief from muscle spasms and cramps. It reduces stress generally, thus, women feel more confident and less stressed during the pregnancy period.
  • GUA SHA
    -Body Gua Sha is a natural, alternative therapy, that involves scraping your skin with a massage tool, to improve your circulation. Rubbing the skin's surface, is thought to help break up the stagnant energy, called chi, reduce inflammation, alleviate muscle soreness and numerous type of injuries and promote healing. -Facial Gua Sha, is a technique using handcrafted pieces of smooth jade to invigorate the skin,smooth out wrinkles and increase blood supply. Using a gentle scraping technique, micro circulation of the soft tissue is stimulated increasing blood circulation. When used together with facial cupping, it relaxes muscle tension,promotes cell repair and regeneration and reduces inflammation, leaving your skin bright and healthy.
  • INDIAN HEAD MASSAGE
    Indian Head Massage,is an ancient, holistic, relaxing tratment that uses acupressure massage on the shoulders,neck,scalp and forehead.It aims to rebalance your body energies,as it brings deep relaxation to the individual and helps in removing all his stress and tiredness. It is usually performed with the client fully clothed,but in some cases, a client removes their upper top to enjoy the massage and seated in a comfortable chair and is done either with or without the use of oil (usually coconut oil).
  • BODY SCRUB
    A Body scrub massage, it exfoliates the skin on your body leaving it feeling fresh, smooth, moisturized and soft. An abrasive product such as sugar, coffee, salt or others ,depending on your skin type, is rubbed vigorously, and massaged across and into your skin, and is then rinsed away to reveal a moisturized layer of fresh, clean and smooth skin.
  • BABIES MASSAGE
    Baby massage, is the gentle rhythmic stroking of each part, of your baby’s body. It has a variety of benefits like, enhancing circulation, getting rid of toxins, improves digestive function, and boosts overall well-being.
  • REIKI
    Reiki is an energy healing technique that promotes relaxation, reduces stress and anxiety through gentle touch. Reiki practitioners, gently use their hands just above or on the client's clothed body, helping improving the flow and balance of your energy, reducing stress and promoting healing. It can be combined with massage.
